How to Clean And Take Care Of Your Swimsuit

Nowadays, swimsuits are more delicate than ever as they are made from unique ribbed and textured fabrics, thin straps, gold hardware, mesh, and lots more. Here are some examples of unique swimsuits that you can’t just throw in the washing machine but are worth the care:

  1. Basic Bikini Top and Basic Bikini Bottom by Cristalina Collection:

This bikini (that can be worn as a set or separately) is made out of the softest velvet ever, so you should take good care of the fabric when cleaning it after a dip in the ocean or pool.

The most important thing to remember when cleaning velvet bikinis is to rinse it off right after wearing it to remove chemicals and all the salt water.

After rinsing out the suit, it is recommendable to hand wash it with mild hand soap that’ll help maintain the color, the soft feeling of the fabric, the shape and the elasticity.

  1. Tennessee Bikini Top and Tennessee Bikini Bottom by Thaikila Swimwear:

This ultra sexy Bikini is made from faux suede and it’s embroidered with delicate flower details, so it should be hand washed with love and lay flat in the shade to dry.

Turn the top and the bottom of the Bikini inside out and submerge it into cold water, mix it with less than a tablespoon of liquid laundry detergent, and your suit will dry as good as new.

  1. Buckled Overall one-piece Swimsuit by Blue Life Swim:

A one-piece swimsuit it’s easier to clean out than a Bikini, but this special suit it’s made of faux suede straps, a buckle detail, and a touchable ribbed fabric, so try to hand wash rather than just throwing it in the washing machine -even on the gentle cycle-.
