5 Tips To Detox for your Holiday Getaway

Having the most fabulous swimsuit is important. However, what’s more, important is that you feel sexy and confident in it! We constantly encourage our Cristalina Lovers to work towards their bikini body goals by leading a healthier and more nutritious lifestyle. 

We want all of you to feel sexy and flawless in your beach look this Xmas and New Year’s Eve, so here are 5 tips to detox your body and mind and get ready for the best season of the year.

1- Drink a warm cup of water with squeezed lemon first thing every morning. 

Warm lemon water is a great way to start off your day. It’ll help stimulate the liver and the bowels, activate your digestive system, make you feel less bloated throughout the day, and give you an energy boost!

2- Cut out sugars, alcohol, and caffeine (at least one week before your trip).

Forget about these substances and get them out of your system to remove toxins from your body. We know it can be hard, especially for all those who crave a cup of coffee every morning, but eliminating these trigger foods will naturally improve digestion and, believe it or not, boost your energy levels. 3- Make yourself a detox smoothie.

Hungry? Grab a blender and throw in celery, green apple, spinach, an unripened banana, kale and lemon juice and you’ll get green goodness in a cup! You can drink it as a substitute for breakfast or enjoy it as a snack, which will help your body to promote natural cleansing.

4- Go for a 15 minute morning run or get in few sets of squats before leaving for work. 

Yes, even 15 minutes makes the difference. If you need some extra motivation, download any personal trainer app to guide you through the workout. 

5- Meditate for at least 10 minutes every day.

Sounds silly but it’s simple and very much worth it. You can do it at any time of the day. Just take a few minutes to yourself, forget about everything else and focus. Breathe in the good vibes and breath out any negativity that could affect you in any way.
